Marbella City Hall and China Construction Bank Span Branch Sign Letter of Intent to Advance Silk Bridge Development and Prepare for the 2026 International Capital Summit

Marbella City Hall and China Construction Bank (CCB) Span Branch have formally signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to establish a framework for institutional cooperation in support of the Silk Bridge International Capital Summit 2026 and to strengthen long-term collaboration between Marbella and Hangzhou.
The signing ceremony was held in a hybrid format and jointly organised by Unicorn Royal Dragon (URD), The Pool, and global strategy consultancy Align, reflecting the cross-border and multi-stakeholder nature of the partnership.
The LOI outlines a shared commitment to advancing Silk Bridge as a China–EU innovation and capital cooperation platform, while laying the groundwork for the preparation and delivery of the 2026 International Capital Summit. The agreement also reinforces institutional ties between the City of Marbella and the City of Hangzhou, with a focus on innovation, investment, and international capital engagement.
The LOI was signed by Mr. Felix Romero, Deputy Mayor of Marbella, and Mr. Xie Lin, Deputy General Manager of China Construction Bank Barcelona Branch, on behalf of their respective institutions.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Alejandro, Director of Innovation at Marbella City Hall; Ms. Han Wenjing, Deputy President of China Construction Bank Hangzhou Branch; and senior representatives from URD, The Pool, and Align.
